Crestani wins Vallelunga, Nocera on top of the classification
Fabrizio Crestani returns to victory in the Italian Formula 3 Championship. The Corbetta Team driver triumphed at Vallelunga in race two and has been followed by Paolo Maria Nocera, that gets the lead of the classification, and Pablo Sanchez Lopez.
Efisio Marchese chose a strategy aimed at minimizing damages and got the sixth final position under the chequered flag after the problems in yesterday's qualifying. The Sicilian driver is now four points adrift Nocera.
The points zone has been completed with Scalbi, Bortolotti, Termine and Faccioni.
With these results and with only the Monza's round to go, the title battle seems to be restricted to Nocera and Marchese only, even if math still gives a hope to Sanchez as well.

Fabrizio Crestani: "After loads of misfortune I returned to the victory. I have always been very fast during this weekend and I believe I could have won yesterday too. Unfortunately this victory is now useless for the championship."
Paolo Maria Nocera: "I drove with an eye to the classification and thereby making my race over Sanchez. I was careful not to make any mistakes and to keep a security margin over him. Now I am at the lead of the classification but four points are not that many: it will be a tough race till the last kilometer."
Alberto Locatelli (Alan Racing, Team Manager): "Sanchez lost the chance to fight for the championship due to yesterday retirement. Today I performed a good race but this podium is not very useful for the classification now.
