Misano: record number of drivers at the start in the season opener

The Misano World Circuit is about to house the opening round of the Italian Formula 3 Championship 2010. The media and the International attention announce to be higher and higher towards a series that in a few years has become a reference point in Europe.

More than thirty drivers from eleven different countries, entered by sixteen teams will be on track this weekend: figures that give an idea of the current success of the Italian Formula 3.

On the technical side, the duel between Dallara and Mygale single seater is stronger than ever even if Italian chassis are more numerous. Novelty in terms of tyres, with Kumho as the unique supplier; the FPT Racing 420 F3 engine is confirmed on all single seaters instead.

Consistent is also the arrival of new teams: BVE Racing Team, Eurointernational, JD Motorsport, LineRace Technology, Ombra Racing, Scuderia Victoria World and TP Formula join Alan Racing, BVM-Target, Corbetta Competizioni, Europa Corse, Lucidi Motors, Prema Powerteam, RC Motorsport, RP Motorsport and Team Ghinzani, already present in 2009.

Almost entirely new set of drivers from the last season: at the eve, the title fight seems to be open to a very wide number of protagonists; certainly not less thrilling announces to be the competition in the rookies classification which is featuring fourteen drivers at the start.

Both races will be covered live by Italian TV on Nuvolari (SKY 218).
