Aaron Scott Thruxton test recap

Aaron quick at Thruxton.

Following his Renault Clio Cup debut at Brands Hatch last week, Aaron Scott was at Thruxton for the first of 3 official test days before the next round at Oulton Park.

After a successful day working on set ups; Aaron delighted the team by taking the Omnico Plastics sponsored race car to the 7th fastest time, lapping the circuit at an average speed of just under 100mph.

Aaron said, "I'm very pleased with the progress we're making - I have a better understanding of the car and how it works now and I hope to improve further at Silverstone, our next test, on Tuesday. I feel very at home with the Tim Norton team and I think the time we set today, especially being on old tyres, reflects how well we're working together."

The next test for the team is on Tuesday, 9th April at Silverstone and the next race at Oulton Park on 21 April.
