The shake-down test that Jason Watt was scheduled to have run today in his specially equipped Peugeot 306 GTI before an eventual comeback in the Danish Touringcar Challenge this coming weekend has been postponed until Wednesday. "There were some electrical problems, which gave us trouble, and that means that we won't be able to do the simple functions test until tomorrow," the paralysed former Formula 3000 driver explains. "We don't know yet whether the solution that Sahva Auto has been working on also functions. Even though the electrical problems may be solved in the workshop, we still do not know anything until we have driven the car. So it is still uncertain, whether I will actually be racing on Whit Monday, but if tomorrow's shake-down test is successful, then luckily we have secured an opportunity to do high-speed testing with the car on both Thursday and Friday." Timed practice for this weekend's third round of the Danish Touringcar Challenge will take place on Saturday June 10th with the racing on Whit Monday June 12th.
