European Formula Drivers Association Formula Euroseries - Rounds 3 & 4 Colmar Berg, Luxembourg

This is a new race track and the first time that the Formula Euroseries has had a chance to see the track. Everyone is competing on an equal playing field.

Practice consisted of 2 - 20 minute sessions - just enough time to get your feet wet. Actually - it had rained earlier in the day, so practice did start off on a wet track, where Paul had the quickest time. It did dry out and the weather is good, but still cloudy.

Qualifying 1 Paul went out and put his car on pole at 1.21.5 and held it for 10 minutes when Anapoli Giovanni from Italy came in the pits and put on a second set of new tyres then turned a 1.21.451 taking over the pole. Paul went back out on the track and improved his time by 6 tenths to regain the pole with a 1m20.874.

    So the USA claims the pole position.

Qualifying 2 Paul again put the car in pole position ahead of Jacky Van der Ende - who won the opening rounds of the series at Zolder, Belgium.

There will be a warm up session tomorrow morning, and the race is to be held at 1:30pm.
