The Belgian Stefan Vancampenhoudt joins the Matech Racing fold !
This coming weekend on the Silverstone circuit and as a part of the prestigious RAC Tourist Trophy, the Matech Racing Ford GTs will for the first time be doing battle in the 2007 European FIA-GT3 championship. The cars' definite livery was completed just prior to shipping the equipment over to England, and the least one can say and write is that these Ford GTs will not go unnoticed amongst the highly impressive gaggle of GT3s.
Within the Matech Racing team, managed by Christian Schumacher, everything is finally ready for the official launch of this great adventure, with nonetheless one small change regarding the team of the second car. In fact some administrative problems have hindered the Swiss driver Yvon Gindre from being part and parcel of the team. As a result he will be replaced by the experienced Belgian driver Stefan Vancampenhoudt who will be teamed up with the Frenchman Romain Bera.
