Luke Hines & Philipp Peter lose their FIA G.T. drive as PSI withdraws from the Championship. The Team had a fairytale start to the season by finishing 2nd in Zuhai only 2 seconds away from an outright victory.
For Luke Hines his very first G.T.1 experience could not have gone better, with the assistance of G.T maestro Philipp Peter his vertical learning curve was made so much easier. Luke Hines said, "When I heard the Team had pulled out I was gutted! No sooner had I got into FIA G.T.1 and it is all over. I thought Philipp & I had a good thing going, we got on well and Philipp really helped me adapt to the Corvette still, as one chapter finishes I am sure another is just about to start! Hopefully I will be able to work with Philipp again in the future"
PSI after their success in China on Michelin tyres they changed to Pirelli for Silverstone it is believed for budget reasons. With all the lack of competitiveness at Silverstone the Team decided to withdraw.
