"It (winning the pole) is another point that we definitely needed. We have a four-point lead now and we'll see what happens tomorrow. We're 67 laps away from the title. There's a lot of work and hard racing tomorrow. I feel great about the AFS/Andretti Green car. I feel great about the opportunity. We've been good all year long. We've had some ups and down this season, but we've found good momentum. Hopefully, we can carry this momentum into tomorrow."

"I think I expected a bit more today in qualifying, so I'm a little disappointed. I thought we might be up in the 191 (miles per hour) range like we were in the last practice. But, the run was pretty good. I think the wind might have picked up a little bit. It's hard to tell. But, it just didn't pull the RPMs we needed on the back straightaway and it seemed to lose a little bit of speed there."
