Vega Tire introduces the MBS 6" oval tire for 2010

03.03.2010 - The MBS tire is the successor to the popular MAS Yellow label oval tire. The Vega MAS compound is one of the most successful oval tires on the market. Popular with dirt oval karters, it has become the tire of choice when a maximum grip tire is required. The Vega tire has been the dominate quarter midget tire in QMA, winning every title at the asphalt Grands for the last three years.

In addition to the success in dirt karting and quarter midget racing, the MBS is the spec tire for the WKA National Pavement Series in 2010.

The MBS has earned the right to be the natural successor in that family. The MBS has improvements to the elastomeric properties that will increase tire durability while retaining the performance of the MAS tire. The MBS is available in 4.50, 6.00, 6.50 and 8.00 sizes. Based on input from our racers, the 4.50, 6.00 and 6.50 have returned to the original 2mm tread depth.
