*** Last week to pre-enter at lowest rate for Daytona Dirt
11.15.2010 - With the new tiered-fee pre-registration structure for this year's Daytona KartWeek events, this is the last week WKA will accept Firestone Dirt World Championships pre-entries at the lowest rate.
Pre-registration for the Dec. 28-30 show remains at $60 per class through Friday, Nov. 19. From Nov. 20 through Dec. 10, pre-entry is $75 per class. This year's at-track fee is $85 per class.
The only exceptions to the tiered-fee system are Kid Karts and the $1,000-To-Win Animal Heavy Money Race. Kid Karts are $15 per day regardless of when you enter and the Animal Heavy Money Race is $70 to pre-enter. The Money Race is $85 to enter at the track.
Again, Firestone is the new Dirt Road to Daytona title sponsor but this does not mean Firestone is the only tire allowed. The originally announced 2011 Tire Program is intact for Daytona and the rest of the four-race program, meaning tires allowed on the right side are Hoosier, Maxxis, Firestone, Vega and Burris. Competitors may run what they wish on the left side as long as they are from an approved manufacturer.
