Thursday Practice Added To Michiana Man Cup Series Event

03.17.2009 - As the George Kugler / Bridgestone Manufacturer's Cup Series driven by Mazda makes its way to Michiana Raceway Park in South Bend, Indiana May 1-3 for the MRP Speed School Nationals, competitors will have the opportunity to gain some added track time on Thursday prior to the weekends event.

WKA Officials have announced the addition of a Thursday afternoon practice for all competitors, including drivers participating in the Rotax Mini Max and Rotax Junior Local Option classes. Gates will open Thursday at 8:00am with practice running from 1:00-6:00pm at a cost of $25 per driver, payable to the track. Competitors are asked NOT to include their Thursday practice fee with their pre-entry. The official Event Pit Pass for the weekend will be sold beginning Thursday morning at a fee of $20 per person. No additional pit pass fees are required for Thursday practice.

Pre-Race Tech and Pre-Entry pickup for the weekends activities will begin at 4:00pm Thursday, with a full day of controlled practice slated for Friday from 9:00am-4:30pm, followed by the Local Option races for Rotax Mini Max and Rotax Junior.
