10th Winter Cup in Lonato Italy

An extraordinary experience for SH Karting's driver Xavier Coupal with last week spent in South Garda Italy, where more than 102 drivers got together in the ICA JR class.

The main goal was to go to Europe to achieve more racing experience against the best Karting drivers in the world. Well we can say mission accomplished.

Xavier was a little deceived for not participating in the final but was very pleased with all the rest of this memorable trip.

Everything was looking great for an exciting finale but luck wasn't part of it. All week long, Xavier maintained fast lap time on the Lonato circuit. For the provisory qualification on Friday, Xavier got the 10th position and would keep it for the 2 qualifying sessions on Saturday. During the first session of Saturday, Xavier had break problems during the first laps and spun out of control while trying to pass another driver. He finished in 23rd position on a total of 34 drivers in that group. For the second session of qualifying he started in 10th position having to get at least in 5ft position to secure a spot in the semi final of Sunday, but unfortunately finished 8th.
