BRETT BODINE, -11- Paychex Ford Taurus -- "We had a pretty good solid weekend at Bristol. We got in first round of qualifying and gave us an opportunity to work on our race setup. We had a good race car all day and just couldn't get any track position. We kept hurting ourselves on pit road and that's an area we're going to have to work on." HOW MUCH DID HAVING GERE HELP? "I think Gere just fit right in. Gere's a pretty easy going, but very focused individual. He's going to be just fine for this race team. The thing is he stepped into a good group of people. I've got a good group. That's what made it easy for him to come in. They've accepted him as the crew chief and that's a very important part of it. As for him and I, we've been friends for years. Even though we didn't work together for the last 10 years, we've still been friends" WHAT ARE YOU THOUGHTS ABOUT TEXAS? "I'm going down there with a lot of questions. I don't have a lot of notes. Gere's got some, but we're taking a brand new car. Since the schedule allows for an extra practice day, it's a perfect time to take a new car and we're just going to go down there and do the best we can. I don't have a lot of expectations because I don't have a lot of knowledge about the place. We're going to have to go back down there and learn it all over again. With what we've heard from people testing, the track has gotten bumpier and we're just going to have to work on it. But it doesn't hurt having a pretty solid run this last weekend. Morale is pretty high around here."
