"I really enjoy racing at Michigan. It's a really smooth track with a very wide racing groove, and that makes for some pretty good racing from where I'm sitting. We had a pretty good car at Michigan in June. If we hadn't gotten caught on pit road when the caution came out, I think we would have gotten a strong finish. A lot of people got caught in the same situation and unfortunately that's just part of the game.

"I keep saying we don't need good luck - we just need the absence of bad luck. Hopefully, we'll be able to avoid any bad luck come Sunday and come home with a strong finish."

"M&M's"® Racing At Michigan International Speedway...
* Ken Schrader often calls on his friends to help him out during the summer months. Each year, he brings several Winston Cup drivers to I-55 Raceway in Pevely, Mo., to sign autographs and play in the dirt. This week, Schrader will return the favor to pal and teammate Johnny Benson. On Wednesday, August 14, Schrader will race at Berlin (Mich.) Raceway, which Benson co-owns.

Schrader will also make another pit stop on his way to the Irish Hills of Michigan. He plans to race at Wheatland (Mo.) Raceway on Tuesday night.

* This weekend, the "M&M's"® Racing Team will turn to one of the older cars in its stable for the return trip to Michigan International Speedway. The No. 36 team will unload the same car that they raced at Michigan International Speedway last season. The car hasn't seen action on the race track this season, but it had two solid performances at Michigan's 2-mile race track last year. In fact, the car nearly captured a top five before a late race caution relegated the "M&M's"® team to a 14th place finish.

* The "M&M's"® Racing Team has a busy week ahead of them. On Tuesday, several members of the team will take part in a NASCAR test session at Daytona International Speedway.
