KEN SCHRADER, NO. 36 M&M'S PONTIAC GRAND PRIX (36th):

WHAT HAPPENED DURING THE LAP TWO INCIDENT YOU WERE INVOLVED IN?

"Somebody just started spinning. I had just been cleared low. I had already committed high. I should have missed it, but I didn't."

JOHNNY BENSON, NO. 10 VALVOLINE PONTIAC GRAND PRIX (41st):

WHAT HAPPENED TO END YOUR DAY?

"It just wasn't our day today. Our whole problem started with somebody leaving tires out on pit road. This track is not wide enough to accommodate that type of deal. That just killed our day. I don't know if it put a pinhole in the oil line or what, but it must have gotten air in the system and broke the engine.

"It was a great race car. The Valvoline Pontiac was good. We were fine. We were running second, running good. Our pit stop was good, but like I said, it was all about people leaving tires out on pit road. They get to rolling around, you're dodging it, you've got people coming out [of their stalls] and I couldn't do anything about it. "What are you going to do? It just wasn't meant to be."

RON HORNADAY, NO. 14 CONSECO PONTIAC GRAND PRIX (35th):

WHAT PUT YOU OUT?

"We had a great car. These guys have been working their guts out all year long.

"Earlier we lost a cylinder, so we ran about 30 or 40 laps down one cylinder. Then for some reason the track bar broke. Thank God we didn't take anybody else out with us. The car is still is in one piece, so we can take it racing again. The Conseco Pontiac has been real good. Overall, we're real happy with the way things are turning around."

KENNY WALLACE, NO. 27 DUKE'S MAYONNAISE PONTIAC GRAND PRIX (27th):

ON YOUR RUN

"In the past, if I had finished 27th, that would have been considered horrible. But nowadays, with what we've been going through, that's OK.

"Don't get me wrong - that was a horrible finish.  But with what we've been
through this year, we'll take it.  We finished."

GREG ZIPADELLI, CREW CHIEF, NO. 20 HOME DEPOT PONTIAC GRAND PRIX (7th):

IS THIS THE TOUGHEST DAY YOUR TEAM HAS EVER HAD AT DOVER?

"Yeah, if you want to look at where we finished. But we ran better all day than where we finished. There are times we've been here and haven't run as well and finished better.

"We just didn't do everything that we needed to today. I think we did a really good job through the middle part of the race. We gained a lot [on Jeff Gordon] and closed a lot, but just gave it all back at the end."

DID THE PIT ROAD INCIDENT WITH THE '29' HURT YOU MUCH?

"It was frustrating, but that was just the start of our problems there. We stopped short to try to make up some time and it ended up costing us time because of what happened. You're kind of 'damned if you do and damned if you don't.'"

BOBBY LABONTE, NO. 18 INTERSTATE BATTERIES PONTIAC GRAND PRIX (12th):

ON YOUR RUN

"It wasn't great. We started off a little loose and then we went too tight. At the end we were decent. It was just that we didn't have any track position. We just kind of struggled a little bit to figure out what we needed to go fast today."

WERE LONG RUNS WHAT YOU NEEDED?

"I think we were dialed in on long runs especially. That's all we needed. We didn't need that last caution. We really weren't looking for any yellow flags after probably lap 200."
