Spencer picks up associate sponsor

CHARLOTTE, N.C. (Jan. 30, 1998) All Pro/Bumper to Bumper, Inc., one of the nation's leading auto parts and service suppliers, has become an associate sponsor of NASCAR veteran Jimmy Spencer in the NASCAR Busch Series Grand National Division.

"We are very happy to have All Pro/Bumper to Bumper with us as major associate sponsors on our Busch team," Spencer said. "It was a thrill to win the All Pro/Bumper to Bumper 300 in the All Pro/Bumper to Bumper car, and I am looking forward to winning more races ... We have already proven that we are a winning combination."

Spencer, the Berwick. Pa., native whose primary NASCAR Busch Series sponsor is Zippo Manufacturing Co., will compete in 10 events in 1998.

The alliance with Spencer, dubbed "Mr. Excitement," will be highlighted when the company assumes the role as primary sponsor on Spencer's Chevrolet at the All Pro/Bumper to Bumper 300 at Charlotte Motor Speedway on Oct. 3.
