USAR: SES: Benny Gordon to pull double duty in 2003

Charleston, SC Benny Gordon will pull double duty in the 2003 season. Gordon and team plan to run both NASCAR Kodak Southeast Series and the USAR Hooters Pro Cup Series.

Although there are some conflicting dates of the series, team owners Troy Baird and Johnny Dangerfield will make the decision of which races to run. This will depend on the point's standings in each series and the track.

April 18th is the first USAR Hooters Pro Cup event that Gordon will race held in Altamahaw, NC at Ace Speedway. Gordon will sit in the seat for the first time in a Hooters Pro Cup car at this weekends test session at Ace Speedway.

Gordon took over the Baird Auto Transport, Johnny's Truck & Auto Center's Hooters #44 seat, when Jason Sarvis rejoined RBR, (his 2002 Championship team) to defend his title. Gordon and team are real excited about the opportunity and are prepared to run both series until team owners decide which direction is best for Gordon and East Coast Motorsports.
