LUCAS OIL NHRA NATIONALS FACT SHEET

WHAT: 29th Lucas Oil NHRA Nationals, 17th of 23 events in the NHRA Full Throttle Drag Racing Series. Drivers in four categories - Top Fuel, Funny Car, Pro Stock and Pro Stock Motorcycle - earn points leading to 2010 NHRA Full Throttle Drag Racing Series world championships.

WHERE: Brainerd International Raceway and Resort, Brainerd, Minn. Track is located a few miles north of the Brainerd area off Highway 371. The track is located on the east side of the highway.

WHEN: Thursday through Sunday, Aug. 12-15

SCHEDULE:

THURSDAY, Aug. 12
LUCAS OIL SERIES qualifying at 9:30 a.m.

FRIDAY, Aug. 13
LUCAS OIL SERIES qualifying at 9:15 a.m.

FULL THROTTLE SERIES qualifying at 2:45 and 5:30 p.m.

SATURDAY, Aug. 14
LUCAS OIL SERIES eliminations begin at 9:15 a.m.

FULL THROTTLE SERIES qualifying at 11:15 a.m. and 2:15 p.m.

SUNDAY, Aug. 15
Pre-race ceremonies, 10 a.m.

FULL THROTTLE SERIES eliminations begin at 11 a.m.

TELEVISION: Saturday, Aug. 14, ESPN2 and ESPN2HD will televise two hours of qualifying highlights at 11 p.m. (ET).

Sunday, Aug. 15, ESPN2 and ESPN2HD will televise NHRA Race Day, a 30-minute news magazine show, at 10 a.m. (ET).

Sunday, Aug. 15, ESPN2 and ESPN2HD will televise three hours of coverage starting at 10 p.m. (ET).

WINNERS: Morgan Lucas, Top Fuel; Tony Pedregon, Funny Car; Greg Anderson, Pro Stock; Hector Arana, Pro Stock Motorcycle.

TICKETS: Tickets can only be purchased at the Brainerd International Raceway front gate. Tickets are not available for purchase by telephone or online.
