Chicago......My Kind of Town.

If it's one thing that Gary Densham is good at, it's taming a new race track. And the surface at the Route 66 Nationals in Chicago will be no exception. Gary and the Team NEC/Auto Club of Southern Calif. have match raced at many different tracks over the past years and are use to different track conditions.

Says Densham, "You quickly learn to race the track, and not the guy in the other lane."

The new state of the art NHRA facility will be a challenge to all of the professional drivers as this is a surface not raced on before.

"This track will certainly even out the field," says Team Manager, Al Liebmann, "Here, no one has an edge."
