Schnitz's Perfect Light Not Enough
Ryan Schnitz nailed a perfect .000 light on Craig Treble in round 1 of Pro Stock Motorcycle eliminations for the NHRA Fram Autolite Nationals at Infineon Raceway in Sonoma, California, but something went away on the Trim-Tex/Muzzy's Buell and Treble got the winlight. "You can't ask for any better than a perfect light," said Schnitz. "But on down the track, the bike just kinda slowed down. We're not really sure if it's a motor issue, an ignition issue, or what it is for sure. But we're gonna try and figure that out over the next week and a half or so."
"Thanks to the crew. Rob, Kurt, Sid and Dave all did a great job this weekend getting the bike ready and doing the job. And thanks to Ruby Muzzy for cooking us up some great meals this weekend.
"We'll try to regroup and maybe have all three motors in Brainerd to pick and choose what we want to run. Hopefully we'll get one that shows to be consistent and powerful and will accept some changes that we give it." Ryan and the team race next at the Lucas Oil NHRA Nationals at Brainerd, Minnesota, August 10-13.
