Ruppel Readies Team for 2006 Championship Off-Road Racing Season
After completing a very eventful 200 5racing season. The team went through a variety of high and lows. A continual engine overheating problem caused several lows, but the team was competitive in every round of racing. One of the highlights was a win in Round 10 at Bark River. In the end Eric Ruppel won the Pit Bull Tires Sportsman Rookie of the Year.
As the team prepares for the opening round of the Sportsman Division 2006 Lucas Oil Championship Off-Road Racing season, Eric has several companies have partnered with the team including: Art Carr Transmissions, BFGoodrich Tires, Phil's Inc. - Automotive Warehouse, Optima Batteries, and True Flow Filters.
"Racing in CORR was the goal I set for myself several years ago when we began in the Formula 4x4 class. When we got to Lake Odessa for our first race, I knew the competition would be tough, but that was an understatement. Every time out at least six or seven trucks are capable of winning. I can?t thank my wife, Deanne and my team, Jesse Davis, Kent Kramer, Nate Roske, and Steve Wickman enough. The help from other CORR competitors really was cool. Winning the Sportsman Rookie honors is a credit to all my supporters. We will be ready for the 2006 season." commented Eric Ruppel.
