Damien Faulkner took his 6th pole position of the year, just ahead of Robbie Kerr. Faulkner will be looking to increase his championship lead over Justin Keen, race after the Englishman could only manage 6th place on the grid for tomorrow morning's race. Miku Santavirta had an excellent session, appearing in the top six for most of the qualifying period. Paul Parsons was the fastest junior, one place ahead of a very puzzled Bruce Jouanny, the Frenchman struggling to get to grips with the very tricky Brands Hatch Grand Prix circuit.
Damien Faulkner was extremely pleased with his performance. "This isn't the easiest of circuits for overtaking on, so it is good to be on pole position. You get no points from qualifying but hopefully I will be able to get 24 points tomorrow from here. Hopefully I'll get a good start and take it from there."
Robbie Kerr was also smiling with his performance. "I'm second and it's good to be on the front row. It's a shame I'm not on pole, but there were too many little mistakes."
