SNOW HALTS FORMULA MASTER TEST IN SPA
This week's International Formula Master (IFM) test at the Spa-Francorchamps circuit in Belgium has been cancelled following heavy overnight snow falls.
The official test was due to take place today and tomorrow, in preparation for the Series' first round at the legendary track next August. However, substantial snow covering the entire circuit has caused the test to be called off.
Following a meeting between IFM teams and organisers, it has been decided that a two-day testing session at the Brno Automotodrom in the Czech Republic on 21 and 22 April 2009 will now replace this week's event, ahead of the final pre-season test at the Hungagoring in Hungary on 27 and 28 April 2009.
Brno will see British team Hitech Junior, who was due to make its inaugural Formula Master run this week in Spa, join the rest of the Series' outfits for the first time.
