SEBRING, FL -- (March 14, 2003) -- FF2000 driver Andy Brumbaugh and his Andy,LLC Van Diemen was in third place by the end of lap one, and never looked back. Despite two restarts due to full course yellows, Brumbaugh kept his composure and his position. Brumbaugh was on the podium at Sebring Int'l Raceway with another Cape Motorsports entry, Westley Barber, who finished first in the race. The University of South Carolina student was satisfied with his finish but looks to the race Friday for a place higher on the podium.

"It was great to be on the podium for the first race of the year because it's always important to score points each time out. I'm glad that I could give Rob Howden and the staff of FormulaCar a podium in the first race of the season at the launch of the magazine. I will be pushing for an even better result on Friday."

The 19-year old driver was complimented by B. S. Levy while on the podium. He was given a decal that said "The Last Open Road", a reference to Levy's famous novel, and was told that Levy admired Brumbaugh's PR savvy. This was indeed a high compliment coming from the self-proclaimed king of PR.
