8:43 AM -- The field has formed on the false grid for the first of two 30-minute qualifying sessions.

8:43 AM -- The first qualifying session will be for race one of the Mario Andretti Grand Prix at Road America doubleheader, which will commence Saturday, August 2, at 3:45 p.m.

8:50 AM- Cars roll on track under overcast conditions.
