RTS RALLY (B / Sint-Truiden) : NOTES AND RESULTS

For the first time, he drives a Ford Escort Cosworth and he wins ! Who ? But Stacey. In Belgium, it must be specialist to know his name. Normal, he's Netherlands and he often ran at home in gr. N.

Then, run in Belgium was a good experience to prepare his championship wich beginin in two weeks at "Circuit of Ardennes" (B).

OK, the area driver Steveny (10 km far from) was the most fast along four stages. But this was the third times he runs in a rally. His experience was also limited. Quickly, the struggle between Stacey and Steveny was our principal attraction. After their, it was ... desert. Turrion crashed his Escort Cosworth in a farm wall after two stages

in a long left corner and the race was suspended. An another outsider was also out : Kurt Heckters. Easy winner in gr. N at Spa, here he don't have chance. The track was an ideal field for his power Mitsubishi Lancer Evo 3 but he broked his engine after three stages. At the end of the first round, Stacey came back in Sint-Truiden in lead then in gr. N, Michel Peerenbooms has no problems to containt a Micha
