ACT Offering $11,000 Cash Contingency Rewards and 35% Off Parts for Competing NASA Members
RICHMOND, CA-March 23, 2006. The National Auto Sport Association (NASA) is pleased to announce that Advanced Clutch Technology (ACT) will offer $11,000 in cash contingency rewards to top finishers in Honda Challenge, American Iron, Spec Miata, and Camaro Mustang Challenge at the inaugural NASA Championship event at the Mid-Ohio Sports Car Course on September 14-17th, 2006.
ACT is also offering a 35% discount on clutch and flywheel purchases for NASA members competing in these NASA series.
ACT Chief Executive Officer Tracey Nunez said, "This is a wonderful opportunity for our company to be involved with. The NASA championships will provide a place for high level competition and it is under these conditions that our products will show just how well they can and do perform."
The cash award program will apply to HU, H1, H2, H3, H4, H5, AI, AIX, CMC, SM and SM2 classes at the NASA Championship event. The program will award drivers a cash payout in the amount of $500 for first place, $300 for second place, and $200 for third place if there are ten or more starters in their class. Competitors must use ACT products during the championship race weekend and run 2 ACT stickers (one on each side of vehicle) supplied by ACT at time of purchase.
