Formula SCCA Qualifying Notes

12:00 PM - The Formula SCCA cars are lined up on the grid in preparation for qualifying.

12:00 PM - Cars roll on course for the 30 minute qualifying session.

12:01 PM - In pre-event testing No. 26 Klein was quickest, with the top-five all being within 0.500 second of one another.

12:06 PM - Early in the session, the top-five is No. 70 Goulart, No. 79 Meredith, No. 97 Futrelle, No. 22 Potolicchio and No. 26 Klein.

12:09 PM - Several cars are pitting to make changes.

12:11 PM - The top-five is No. 70, No. 79, No. 12 Pritchard, No. 97 and No. 22.

12:11 PM - Fast time is 1:27.165, which is quicker than in testing.

12:13 PM - No. 70 has gone off-course, but rejoined.

12:14 PM - The top-five is now No. 70, No. 79, No. 26, No. 12 and No. 97.

12:15 PM - No. 70's fast time is now 1:27.065.

12:16 PM - The top-two are within 0.200 second of one another.

12:17 PM - No. 79 is reported to have gone off-course.

12:17 PM - No. 26 has pulled off course with a mechanical failure.

12:17 PM - Several cars are still pitting on regular basis.

12:18 PM - No. 22 has moved into fifth place.

12:22 PM - The field is notified that five minutes remain in qualifying.

12:24 PM - The top-five remains unchanged.

12:25 PM - No. 22 is now fourth.

12:26 PM - CHECKERED, No. 70 Goulart captures the pole position for Round Three of the Formula SCCA Championship. Completing the top-three is No. 79 Meredith and No. 26 Klein.
