MB Racing Finishes 2006 Competitive Season in Style

Alton, VA (October 30, 2006) -- MB Racing had thier best results ever as a team this past weekend at Virginia International Raceway, finishing 19th on Saturday in a field of 66 cars, and wrapping up the season with a strong 16th place finish in the CCPS Enduro event in a field of 63.

MB Racing Team Principal Matt Brown and co-driver Chuck VanNostrand had nearly identical qualifying times putting the car in the field for the two endurance events; VanNostrand with a 1:49.179 for Saturday's ECR Event, and Brown followed with a 1:49.097 for Sunday's Race, both held on VIR's 2.25 mile North Course.

"We could not have been more pleased with our efforts this weekend," said Team Principal Matt Brown. "With a new co-driver, you always hope for the best, and Chuck really put in a fine effort for us," Brown continued. "We would like to thank crew chief Benny Folk, Mike Amy of DogGone Racing, and Steven Groh, along with all of our partners for allowing us the opportunity to finish so strongly in 2006. We can't wait to get back on track next season," Brown concluded.
