TOPEKA, Kan. (Nov. 17, 2003) -- The 2003 Sports Car Club of America Valvoline Runoffs®, America's premier amateur road racing event featuring a Runoffs-record 694 competitors, will begin its television broadcasts on SPEED Channel this weekend.
The tape-delayed coverage from the Sept. 19-21 event kicks off Nov. 22 at noon (EST) with the C Sports Racing event, followed by Showroom Stock C and
G Production. The broadcast format for the Runoffs will feature three races every Saturday and Sunday with the same starting time, on consecutive weekends, until all 24 races are shown. The last race to be broadcast will be GT-3, Dec. 14, at 2 p.m. (EST).
After the last Sunday is completed, SPEED will run a marathon of all 24 races back-to-back on Christmas Day.
