ALLSTAR: Upcoming Races, Schedule Changes, Doty Classic

PONCE INLET, FL - Attica Raceway Park promoter Gene Frankart announced today that the annual Brad Doty Classic set for Wed. July 14 has picked up an All Star sanction. The event will pay $5,000 to win with $1,000 for fast time and each heat race will pay $100 to win. In other Attica news, the rescheduled Attica Coors Nationals for the All Star sprint car series on Friday, June 18 will be a standard one-day All Star sprint show paying $5,000 to win. This makes a big Ohio weekend for the All Stars with the Saturday, June 19 event at K-C Raceway near Chillicothe hosting "The Night the Stars Come Out", paying $7,000 to win. Other All Star schedule changes include the addition of a race at Bloomington (IN) Speedway as a rain-out make-up on Friday, July 30 with a complete new racing program. Also, the event originally scheduled for Evans Kokomo Speedway in Kokomo, IN on July 11 has been canceled by promoter Kent Evans.
