RC Roper 2007 USA Sprints champion

RC Roper Captures the Final USA Sprints 2007 Southern Thunder Tour Championship!

RC Roper driving the "Victory is Jesus" Sticks Pest Control Maxim # V8 would clinch the Southern Thunder Tour Title and the Final USA Sprints Championship by locking down 1st place in points in 2007 with a slim 25 point margin. Roper was closely followed all along this year by fellow friend and teammate Mike "Wingman" Tharp in the "Victory is Jesus" Gambler chassis # J1. This was a big accomplishment considering the complexities of RC's ongoing health related problems. Roper will undergo extensive medical procedures at Johns Hopkins University Hospital Oncology Center in the next year.

Our prayers are with RC and his entire family to pull thru this tough time. Greg "The Jet" Leonard driving the # 85 Clyde Poole Special would wind up third in the final rundown with an awesome performance week in and week out. Scotty Adema "The Fort Myers Flash" # 67 Tommy Rice owned J & J Chassis from Fort Myers would come home 4th followed closely by Dennis "D-Man" Misuraca in the Sparkle Brite Pools # 3d Schnee to cap off the top five points finishers.
