Cory Kruseman set a new record by winning his fifth SCRA Sprint Car main in a row at The PAS. He shared the old record with Rip Williams. Williams handled all of the main event until lap 17 when he got together with the lapped car of Ronnie Clark and started a chain reaction crash that also involved Richard Griffin (Griffin got upside down), Jordan Hermansader, Marc Hart, Brian Venard and Rickie Gaunt. Only Williams and Gaunt restarted. At the end, Kruseman was nearly a half racetrack ahead of second place Rutherford.

Other cars upside down on the night were Jeff Schildmeyer and Danny Sheridan. Schildmeyer flipped several time going into turn three in the“ C”main after running over the right rear of Glen Crossno. Bad looking crash that essentially wasted the car, but he walked away unhurt. Sheridan and John Scott touched in the 4th heat with Sheridan getting upside down coming off turn two and breaking the frame on his car. He was unhurt, but done for the night.

Fans, drivers, crewmen and officials donated $7,860.00 to“ Big George Gervais and his family.
