Sprint Bandits Rained Out Friday at I-30; Saturday All Clear

TULSA, Okla. (May 14, 2004) - The return of 410-ci Sprint Car racing to Little Rock's I-30 Speedway will be delayed by a day, as Friday night's O'Reilly Sprint Bandits programs has been rained out. Saturday night's program is still on as scheduled with clear skies in the forecast.

Approximately 35 cars are expected for Saturday night's O'Reilly Sprint Bandits event at I-30 Speedway, including current series point leader Sammy Swindell, Gary Wright, Shane Stewart, Zach Chappell, Aaron Berryhill, Jerrod Hull, Danny Jennings, Jan Howard, Tim Montgomery and many more.

A $500 bonus is also up for grabs for Saturday's top-finishing 360-ci entry.

I-30 Speedway is located seven miles southwest of Little Rock off I-30 Exit 126 (County Line Road). Tickets for Saturday night are only $20, with children 6-12 just $4 when accompanied by an adult.
