Scoring Review Changes USCS Hickory, NC Results

FAYETTEVILLE, GA - After a review of the scoring for the Friday night United Sprint Car Series 40-lap Feature Race at Hickory Motor Speedway in Hickory, NC, USCS officials have revised the official finishing order for the event.

Originally, Brad Davis of Rutherfordton, NC was scored in the fourth position with 39 laps completed, and Frank Neill of Vickery, OH was scored in the sixth position with 39 laps completed. After a further review of the score sheets for the caution-free 40-lap main event, it was discovered that both Davis and Neill completed 38 laps.

In the revised finish, Davis and Neill finished 11th and 12th respectively. Will Ragsdale of Greenville, SC finished fourth, followed by Danny Martin Jr. of Sarasota, FL in fifth, Don Townsend of Columbus, OH in sixth, Troy DeCaire of Tampa, FL in seventh, Bill Moore of Denver, NC in eighth, Wayne Reutimann Jr. of Zephyrhills, FL in ninth, and Doug Berryman of Mansfield, OH in tenth.

The top three finishers, winner Kenny Adams of Malabar, FL, second-place Joe Rebman of Mansfield, OH, and third-place Terry Gray of Bartlett, TN remain the same, all with 40 laps completed. There was also no change from the original finish in positions 13 through 21.
