Item 1:                 Ford Minimum Weight
Affected Rule:          Article 25: Vehicle Weight Limits and Adjustments

Add the following: Competitors using 311 cid Ford V-8 engine must add 50 lbs to their minimum weight. Revised minimum weight for this combination is 2675 lbs.

Item 2:                 Approved Automobiles
Affected Rule:          A-2.1.4:  1998 Corvette
Change to read:         Maximum rear spoiler width 65 inches.

Item 3:                 Approved Automobiles
Affected Rule:          A-2.4.2:  Grand Prix, Monte Carlo
Change to read:         Minimum roof to decklid, 13.5 inches.

Rationale: To better equalize performance potential of the various body/engine combinations eligible for competition in the Trans-Am Series, based on results from the first eight races of the 1999 season.
