Loveland ,Oh (October 7,2003)-- Hoffman Auto Racing will be honored on October 14 in Columbus Ohio by the Ohio State Senate and The House of Representatives. In separate full sessions ,resolutions will be presented to The Hoffman Team by Senator Doug Young(President of the Senate), and Speaker of the House, Representative Larry Householder. The resolutions will recognize Hoffman Racing as the winningest Team in United States Auto Club Sprint Car history, with currently 57 wins and 7 National Championships. The resolutions will thank Hoffman Racing for representing the State of Ohio with excellence, and for being outstanding citizens of the State.
Hoffman Racing will recognize the two great Ohio companies that are primary sponsors of the Team, Kroger, and the Tide, Pringles, and Bounty brands of the Procter&Gamble Company. Secondary sponsorship comes from Blair Custom Wear(now known as Allegheny Trail) of Warren Pa.

Hoffman Auto Racing(HAR) competes in the Silver Crown and Sprint Car Divisions of the United States Auto Club. HAR was founded in 1929 by August "Gus" Hoffman. Currently three generations of Hoffman's are involved in the Team. Har is the all time leader in USAC Sprint Car Team victories with 57 wins, and 7 National Championships. Additionally Har has won 7 USAC Silver Crown wins, for a total of 64 National wins. Drivers of note for HAR have been past NASCAR Champion Jeff Gordon, current NASCAR Champion Tony Stewart, Rich Vogler, and Johnny Parson Jr. Tracy Hines currently drives the famous Hoffman Sprint Car.
