KAMP MOTOR SPEEDWAY JOINS INDIANA MIDGET WEEK SLATE
Kamp Motor Speedway in Boswell, Ind. will serve as the opening venue for USAC's 2007 "Indiana Midget Week," hosting a Thursday night, Aug. 9 event under the organization of Tony Barhorst, who has annually presented his popular "Rumble Series" indoor events in Fort Wayne, Ind. and in 2007 at Columbus, Ohio.
The race kicks off a four-race slate with races at Gas City I-69 Speedway Friday, Aug. 10, Lawrenceburg Speedway Aug. 11 and Kokomo Speedway Aug. 12.
"This creates a great week of dynamic Midget racing for race fans," said USAC National Midget Series coordinator Greg Staab. "We are pleased that Tony has been able to secure the Boswell track for this important event. Bob and Gayle Kamp have a fine facility which now becomes part of both the Indiana Midget Week and Indiana Sprint Week and we look forward to both."
