AUS: Dean Thomas to make WoO debut

Eighteen year old Dean "Squirrel" Thomas will be making his World of Outlaws debut at Paramatta City Raceway this January. Moving up from Speedcars (Midgets) to Sprintcars this season after picking up the NSW Speedcar Rookie award, Dean started the season late due to sitting his final HSC school exams.

He celebrated his 18th birthday the day before the Outlaw event and will be hoping for a good showing in front of the massive crowd and top line American competition.

Now working at the Revolution Racegear shop in Auburn, Dean is looking to learn as much as possible from his first year in the cut throat Sprintcar ranks, with a view of doing the whole PCR Series next season and moving to the World Series Ranks in 2006-07 with his small but enthusiastic family run team.
