Pennzoil World of Outlaws: Donny Schatz and Stevie Smith rode their Goodyear tires to a week of domination, winning three races in as many tries.
It was a big week for the world's biggest tire maker.
Schatz won his sixth A Main of the season as he led the final 18 laps on the way to victory at MetraPark Raceway in Billings, MT. Smith finished second, while Goodyear drivers Tim Shaffer finished sixth and Dale Blaney was seventh.
Next, the Outlaws had a two-day stay at Gray's Harbor Raceway Park in Elma, WA and there was more Goodyear domination. Smith won both the Preliminary Main and the A Main.
In the Preliminary Main, Smith led the final 17 laps to get his second preliminary win of the season. Blaney finished second. Schatz took fifth, while Goodyear racers Jeff Shepard was sixth, Sammy Swindell was ninth and Shaffer finished 10th.
One night later, Smith took the lead from Schatz on the final lap to get the win. Schatz finished second.
