SEAT Sport Team ready to defend their options

The Brno racetrack has been especially difficult in qualifying for SEAT Sport, who nonetheless managed to have three of their cars among the top ten. Despite the tremendous disadvantage carried by the SEAT LeÃ"n TDI, Gabriele Tarquini, Tiago Monteiro and Jordi Gene were able to qualify on 5th, 6t and 9th place. Yvan Muller and Rickard Rydell will start from the 11th and 14th position.

The qualifying session for the first race of tomorrow witnessed the efforts made by the SEAT Sport drivers to try to compensate the ballast handicap with regard to their rivals, and the reward of their hard work with a highly commendable qualifying result, given the circumstances. As a significant fact, the pole position went to Alex Zanardi, the driver with the lightest car on the grid. This shows the big importance of the ballast on this track, which is known for its several drops.
