The first qualifying session started well with Robbie Kerr putting in the second fastest time. In sessions two and three the pace was picking up and A1Team.GBR dropped in the overall rankings and the competition really hotted up. Stint four saw a leap back up to fourth -- a position ahead of Round one qualifying.
Robbie Kerr: "We had a good qualifying. We're working on the car all the time. We could use a new set of tyres for each stint and we got the car quicker and consistent.. First stint we went out and went well -- got a good lap together. The next stint we tried a couple of different things. They didn't work quite as well so we came back on those and went out in the third stint and that went well -- we went quicker. Then in the fourth session we changed the car a little bit and went quicker again so we're fairly pleased with it. It's a tight grid and I think it's going to remain that way through the year. We've got a good race car -- we know that -- we can put in consistent lap times and I'm sure we'll be there tomorrow."
