A new parking policy will reduce congestion in the Road Atlanta infield during the fourth annual Audi Petit Le Mans, Oct. 3-6.

Free parking in two large designated lots outside the main entrance and free shuttle service to the infield will be offered fans attending the American Le Mans Series season finale. Only a limited number of infield parking passes will be offered for advance sale to the public, in an effort to relieve the traffic congestion in the infield.

"We believe our new parking policy will make the Audi Petit Le Mans, and other major events at Road Atlanta, more enjoyable for all of our fans," says Mike Swaine, Executive Director for Road Atlanta. "We are fortunate that the Audi Petit Le Mans has become such a popular event, and want to make the experience as pleasant as possible."

A large lot just East of the main entrance and the parking lots at Lanier National Speedway across the street will be available at no charge for fans. Continuously running shuttles on Friday and Saturday will ferry fans to and from the free parking lots to the infield, with several drop off and pick up locations. Fans will be allowed to carry coolers up to 14 inches on the shuttles.

For those fans who still want to park in the infield, a limited number of parking passes will be available for $25. A limited number of camping sites are also available for $25.

SARRC WEEKEND: Road Atlanta will host a South Atlantic Road Racing Championship (SARRC) doubleheader over Labor Day weekend. Practice starts Saturday with seven races on Sunday and six races on Monday.

A 20-lap Pro-IT race, scheduled for a 12:45 p.m. start on Sunday, is the feature race of the weekend.

A three-day ticket will be available for purchase at the gate for $15.

TICKETS: Tickets for the Audi Petit Le Mans are now on sale. The premium ticket is the four-day Mulsanne Chalet package, which includes four-day admission, paddock access, preferred parking and Saturday hospitality (food and beverages). Mulsanne Chalet packages are available only in advance and cost $200 ($100 for children). A four-day Super Ticket costs $65 in advance and $75 at the gate and includes paddock access. A one-day Saturday only ticket is available for $45 in advance.
