Silverstone Saturday Morning Practice

In Saturday morning practice, the Team Rafanelli Lola B2K/10 of Schiatarella continued to top the times, setting a 1m37.330 - some 1.2 seconds a lap faster than the Panoz of David Brabham. Behind the Lola and the Panoz pair were the two Audi R8's of Capello and Biela. The BMWs were both next up - improving on yesterday's perfromance, but still struggling with the Silverstone circuit, and now running the Le Mans package for aerodynamics.

In the GTS class, the Dodge Viper of Archer and Donohue topped the sheets, with Beretta/Wendlinger car next up. The Vipers running some 3 seconds faster than the Porsche 911 of Kaufman/Ortelli.

In the GT class, Dick Barber's Porsche driven by Massen/Wollek topped the times, with a 1m53.477, with their team mate Müller/Luhr a second behind, and the RWS Porsche of Höfer amd Riccitelli next up.

The Seikel Motorsport Porsche 911 of Burgess/Neugarten in GT class, the Chamberlain Viper of Brun/Seiler, and the Porsche 911 of Beaverbrook/Lister failed to set times in the session.
