AMA Test Scheduled For This Week Canceled Due To Forecasted Inclement Weather
MONTEREY, Calif. (February 5, 2007) -- Due to expected rains, the AMA Superbike test scheduled at Mazda Raceway Laguna Seca for Wednesday and Thursday, February 7th and 8th has been canceled.
With the season opening round in Daytona, Florida on March 10, the test at Mazda Raceway Laguna Seca will not be rescheduled.
The AMA Superbike Championship will return for two events at Mazda Raceway Laguna Seca during the world-renowned track's 50th Anniversary Season. During the Red Bull U.S. Grand Prix July 20-22 the AMA Superbike and Pro Honda Oils Supersport Championships will complement the MotoGP World Championship, and all four classes (Superbike, Supersport, Superstock and Formula Xtreme) will compete during the AMA Superbike Championship at Mazda Raceway Laguna Seca September 15-16.
