Ryan Lewis ready to go in Edmonton
After a stunning podium finish in Toronto two weeks' ago, after qualifying back in 14th place, Ryan Lewis will be looking to start higher on the grid at Edmonton in Canada this weekend, as he continues the quest for his first Atlantics victory.
Yet again this is a new circuit for Ryan to learn but the young Brit is a fast learner so it's not a problem for him. The Edmonton circuit is an airport track so, after posting second fastest race lap in both Cleveland races, the last airport track, Ryan is confident he can do well this weekend.
"We're going away from the street circuits up until San Jose next week and back to another sort of fast circuit. We ran really strongly in Cleveland and Edmonton has a lot of similarities to Cleveland. It's another airport track with very fast, long flowing corners. So I think we can run strongly again and, as long as I improve on my qualifying performance, there is no reason why we can't be at the front. That's really where our weakness lies at the moment, where we qualify on the grid at the start of the weekend."
