KOOL/Toyota Atlantic Final Qualifying -- Mid-Ohio

LEXINGTON, Ohio - Canadian Kenny Wilden will start from the pole for Sunday's KOOL/Toyota Atlantic Championship at the Mid-Ohio Sports Car Course. Wilden, of Burlington, Ont., posted a time of 1:17.474 for an average speed of 104.92 miles per hour around the 2.258-mile road course. Wilden's time came from Friday's provisional qualifying session, and held up during Saturday's rain-slowed final qualifying. Canadian Andrew Bordin, of Woodbridge, Ont., was second fastest at 1:17.993, with points leader Anthony Lazzaro, third quickest at 1:18.129. Bordin and Lazzaro also posted their fast times on Friday. Sunday's round 8 of the KOOL/Toyota Atlantic Championship is set for an 11:50 a.m. start.
