KOOL/Toyota Atlantic Final Qualifying -- Trois-Rivieres

TROIS-RIVIERES, Quebec, Canada - Points leader Anthony Lazzaro set a new qualifying record and will start on the pole position for Sunday's KOOL/Toyota Atlantic Championship. Lazzaro, of Acworth, Ga., posted a time of 1:01.616 on the street circuit, eclipsing the mark of 1:01.784 set by Jacques Villeneuve in 1993, to earn his fourth pole of the season. Alex Tagliani, of Lachenaie, Que.,will start alongside Lazzaro on the front row, following his qualifying time of 1:01.838. Kenny Wilden, of Burlington, Ont., and Buddy Rice, of Phoenix, Ariz., will start on the second row, respectively. Sunday's round seven of the KOOL/Toyota Atlantic Championship is scheduled for a 1:45 p.m. ET start.
