Euro 3000 Plans for the 2005 season

The new SUPERFUND Euro 3000 car has completed aerodynamic development in the wind tunnel. At the end of the month, we will be releasing full details of the car's spec but in the meantime, we would like to offer you some information concerning the plans for next season.

* The car
While we cannot release details of the new car ahead of the official announcement, we can confirm we will be unveiling an exciting and innovative new design powered by a V10 engine with 650 - 700 HP. The new car will offer a high-tech, low-maintenance, affordable race package for teams.

* The races
There will be a minimum of ten races in the 2005 calendar with the focus on street circuits and one non-championship oval race. All races will also include compulsory pitstops. The full calendar is to be confirmed with the presentation of the new car.

* Television
The aim is to increase the international television coverage from 300 to 500 hours for next year, expanding the number of live cameras at the track from 18 to a total of 25 including on-boards and effects cameras.

* Race weekend: a whole package
The focus will be on creating an action-packed, fun-filled, exciting race weekend for fans, spectators and drivers alike with live entertainment, music, support series and new race tracks. The aim is also to make the series more interactive to reinforce the strong relationship between teams, drivers, fans and the organisation.
