Draco Team obtains the first podium of 2004 with Nicky Pastorelli

The first round of Superfund-Euro3000 Championship 2004 ends with the red flags after 27 laps, shortened by heavy rain.

Draco J. Team celebrates his first podium of this season : Nicky Pastorelli was third, gaining the first precious points, but he's aiming high : "I must work more -he said - I wait the next race, I'm sure, I can win. I get on well with my team, it work hard for me, and I have to win absolutely."

Fausto Ippoliti ,here for the first time with his Lola, finished ninth, and he's satisfied with his work : "I made a good race, I tested my car in the rain...Maybe I could be more agressive, but I chose to finish the race keeping my position because of

a driving rain. I'm proud to be here with my fantastic team, and I'll make my best in Estoril."

Nadia Morini, Financial Director, thinks this is a fair debut, but she's thinking right from now the next race : "The Team worked well, I quite satisfied with the results...I'm not very happy, but I know, it's impossible to win always. I'm content to see my group close-knit and decisive. The Superfund organization was perfect, an "american style"race , with show, image and entertainment. Everybody watched the race on DSF Channel, a good service for Teams and Sponsors.

At the beginning of this years we received many offers to race other championships, but we chose this plan, and now we are pleased with our choice."
